Terms of Service

Only the German version of these terms and conditions applies.


The general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") apply to all orders placed and contracts concluded via the online shop vr-store.ch (hereinafter referred to as "VR Store") (hereinafter referred to as "order").

VR Store reserves the right to change the terms and conditions. In each case the version of the terms and conditions valid at the time of the order is decisive, which cannot be changed unilaterally for this order.


The offer is aimed at natural clients with residence or legal clients domiciled in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. Deliveries are only made to addresses in Switzerland or Liechtenstein.

The offer is valid as long as it is visible in the online shop and/or stocks last. Price and assortment changes are possible at any time. The images shown in advertising, brochures, in the online shop etc. as well as all information about the products are for illustration purposes and are not binding. The specific information on the product packaging is decisive.


The prices are in Swiss francs and include VAT.

The price in the online shop at the time of the order is decisive.


The presentation of the products in the online shop is not a legally binding request, but a non-binding online catalogue or a non-binding request to the customers to order the product in the online shop.

An order is regarded as an offer to VR Store to conclude a contract.

After submitting the order, the customer automatically receives a confirmation of receipt, which documents that the order has been received by VR Store. The customer can only cancel the order until it is processed by VR Store. Cancellations are generally excluded after VR Store has begun processing the order.

VR Store is free to refuse orders or cancel them in whole or in part without giving reasons. In this case the customer will be informed and any payments already made will be refunded. Further claims are excluded, in particular there will be no forwarding of undeliverable products. Temporarily unavailable products cannot be reserved.

Conclusion of contract

A contract is only concluded when the order is processed by VR Store. As soon as the processing of the order has begun, the customer receives an order confirmation by e-mail. VR Store reserves the right to cancel the contract up to the point of dispatch.


Delivery area

The delivery address of the customer must be in Switzerland or the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Delivery times

In principle, deliveries are carried out by the post office and orders are handed over from VR Store to the post office within 14 days if available. If the product is not available / only on queue the delivery time can increase drastically. The available delivery options are shown in the online shop and can be selected by the customer for the respective order. Time delays are possible, whereby any claims for damages as well as further claims of the customers are excluded. 

The customer is responsible for the products delivered, even if they have not been received directly by the customer.

Delivery charges

The delivery costs depend on the weight and size of the ordered products. The delivery costs communicated in the online shop apply. The delivery costs are listed as an additional item on the invoice.


VR Store assumes no legal warranty for the ordered products. Instead, there is a 2-year service from the date of purchase - in the event of a warranty claim, VR Store will assist customers in sending the warranty claim to the manufacturer. At its own discretion, VR Store can also suggest and offer repairs, transport, collection, replacement equipment, etc. 

VR Store also assigns the warranty of the manufacturer of the products to the customers, if the manufacturer offers one. For example: For the Valve Index headset the customer receives the warranty of the Valve Corporation (also known as Steam), which lasts up to 2 years.

A general right of return of faultless and correctly delivered products does not exist. 

Notification of defects

If products with obvious damage to the packaging or contents are delivered, the customer must immediately complain to the delivery agent and refuse acceptance, without prejudice to his rights to claim for defects. The customer is obliged to receive a damage confirmation from the delivery person. All transport damages must also be reported immediately to VR Store.

Furthermore, it is the customer's responsibility to check the ordered products immediately upon receipt. For any defects or deviations from the order, VR Store must be notified by e-mail support@vr-store.ch on the day of delivery. After that only hidden defects can be claimed, which must be reported to VR Store immediately after discovery.

Electronic means of payment

Payments must be made in Swiss francs.

Credit cards, crypto currencies, cash on delivery (CHF 11 surcharge), TWINT and bank transfers are accepted as means of payment. Customers are aware that all payment methods except bank transfer carry irreversible charges. Under no circumstances can these fees be refunded, "as much as is left" will be refunded.

Refunds, credits, balances

If the customer is entitled to refunds or other credits, these are generally credited to the customer as a bank transfer. VR Store decides on the method of refund. Please also refer to the instructions under "Electronic means of payment".



Anyone wishing to bid at a VR Store auction must first register online. VR Store is free to request payment by TWINT for verification purposes, which will be refunded after the auction. VR Store is also free to delete suspicious accounts including their bids.

The information requested during registration must be complete and correct. If the data provided during registration changes, users are obliged to correct their data at the latest before participating in a new auction.


It is forbidden to place bids under a false name, even if the system has accepted it. All users who bid at an auction are bound to their bid until it expires by a higher bid. It is not possible to change or withdraw a bid.

The bidding users will be informed by e-mail when a higher bid is received. In the final phase, only direct communication via the Internet will be valid.

The duration of the auction is basically limited to a time period determined by VR Store. The expected end of the auction is displayed. A highest bid must last at least three minutes. If a higher bid is placed during this time, the time from the last bid received will be extended by another ten minutes. The system time shown on the website applies. VR Store reserves the right to extend the auction or to cancel it prematurely.

VR Store is not liable for bids that are not registered or accepted due to technical problems. The same applies to e-mails that are delivered too late or contain errors. Should the auction not be able to be held as planned and correctly as a result of technical faults, server failure, loss of data, transmission errors, abuse or damage to third parties, force majeure etc., VR Store reserves the right to declare the auction invalid.

The binding purchase contract for the product, which constitutes an acknowledgement of debt in the sense of a legal opening title, is concluded at the time of the electronic closing of the auction. By placing a bid, the bidding users undertake to take over the product presented in the respective auction at the conditions stated in the General Terms and Conditions and at the bid price.

When the auctioned product is knocked down, VR Store will contact the customer to finalize the payment.

Purchase of the products

For the payment of the auction amount, the Highest Bidder will receive an invoice by e-mail, which will be sent by bank transfer within 3 working days must be paid.

If no payment is made within the time limit, VR Store reserves the right to demand the amount owed by legal action and to pass the costs incurred on to the highest bidder. In case of non-payment of an auctioned product, the highest bidder will be excluded from further auctions.

The product will be shipped within 3 working days after receipt of payment.

Final provisions

Every auction, including all contractual and non-contractual legal relationships arising from this auction, is subject to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Rüschlikon.

VR Store is not liable for damages caused by server failure, technical problems, data loss, transmission errors etc. Furthermore, VR Store does not accept any responsibility for misuse or damage by third parties or for security deficiencies of the internet or the IT infrastructure.

Severability clause

Should a provision of this contract or the contents of a supplement to this contract integrated into the contract be or become invalid, the validity of the rest of the contract shall not be affected. The contracting parties shall replace the invalid provision by a valid provision which comes as close as possible to the intended economic purpose of the invalid provision and the originally agreed contractual balance. The same shall also apply to any contractual loopholes.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

The legal relationship between VR Store and its customers is subject to Swiss substantive law, excluding conflict of laws provisions and the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

Place of jurisdiction is 8803 Rüschlikon.
